Man oh man.  When I advertised for a microbiologist for my lab 24 months ago, I got a whole bunch of chemical engineers apply and a couple of unsuitable micro candidates. None of the micro jobs I've applied for have lead to interviews.  Apparently I come across as too experienced.  That's crap.  All that means is I do not need direction and know my shit inside and out.

Maybe all the microbiologists who failed to apply to work in my lab have come out of the wood work.  

Anyhow, as my redundancy kick back is getting a bit thin, recently I've been providing computer techy services and designing and developing webpages so the shift from science into design may be starting to gather momentum.
